Over a billion people never get a clean glass of water to drink

Almost 5,000 children die every day from diseases caused by

unsafe water and lack of sanitation.

Over the last 30 years Lions Clubs have raised over £1.5 Million, enough to help people take their first steps out of poverty and helping to make lasting changes for millions of people by making clean water and decent toilets a normal part of daily life. Lions Clubs working with other organisations has helped communities to set up, operate and maintain their own projects using low cost, appropriate technologies.

All Projects combine water, sanitation and hygiene education to ensure communities gain the maximum health benefits
